Project overview
HBL approached us to furnish a newly leased floor in their Clifton branch. The requirement was clear — professional, durable, and delivered on a tight deadline before staff moved in. The brief covered 40 open-plan workstations, a fully fitted executive suite, a reception area with counter seating, and a 12-seater conference room. Every piece needed to reflect HBL's corporate identity — formal, structured, and built to last under daily commercial use. We handled everything from the initial site visit and measurement through to final installation sign-off, with zero disruption to the adjacent occupied floors.
The challenge
The floor had an irregular layout with three structural columns positioned exactly where a standard workstation grid would have run. Rather than leaving dead space around them, we custom-built angled partition panels and L-shaped desks designed specifically around each column position. The executive suite also required a bespoke walnut veneer table in a non-standard length — 3.2 metres — which we manufactured in-house and delivered as a single piece to avoid any visible joins.
The result
The entire floor was handed over on day 5 as committed, allowing HBL staff to move in without any delay to their operational timeline. The quality of the executive suite in particular was noted by the branch head during sign-off. HBL has since commissioned us for 2 additional branches, and we remain their preferred furniture supplier for Karachi fit-outs.
